Top Ten Movies

Since I announced my top ten flicks for 2007 in this week's issue of Atlantic City Weekly, I wondered what other people in the blog-esphere thought were the top films of the year.

Here is the Moviejunkie’s Top 10 of 2007
(in alphabetical order; pictured are Ellen Page and Michael Cera from Juno)

• Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead
• Bourne Ultimatum
• Gone Baby Gone
• Grindhouse
• Juno
• Knocked Up
• The Lives of Others
• The Lookout
• No Country For Old Men
• Waitress

Do you disagree strongly?
Either way, I'd love to hear from you. You can either comment on this blog, or e-mail me your list to lhoffman@acweekly.com

I haven’t seen all the films you have seen so my list is different than yours even thought we both have similar tastes. For me “The Lives of Others” was on my 2006 list as I saw it at the 06 Toronto Film Festival but as it was only released this year, does this mean I can include 2 years in a row… bonus! I loved it so much I bought it.

My top film is “The Namesake” and the above, but others include…..
No Country for Old Men
Persepolis
4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days
Hairspray
Eastern Promises
Juno
Away From Her
American Gangster
